During March to May of 2012, BWC Forex Limited has successfully organized an online FX Competition. The 2 main objectives of this online game, firstly, are to provide a platform for general customers to deepen their understanding and interest about Forex-trading. Through the game, contestants could also try to put their trading skills into practice. Secondly, the game serves to let general customers experience BWC’s user-friendly Forex trading platform as well as its customer service to privileged customers.
The Competition was divided into 3 rounds of games running from March to April plus the Final Round in May. The top 3 winners of each round were invited to join the final round. Contestant of each round could simply go to the BWC website and download its Forex trading platform to join the competition free of charge. Each contestant immediately gets US$100,000 virtual capital. They could use the BWC Forex platform to trade foreign currencies combination based on real-time prices.
The prizes are very attractive. The winner of each initial round enjoys one room night in the City of Dreams Hotel in Macau plus 2 tickets of The House of Dancing Water Show sponsored by City of Dreams Macau. The champion of the final round has got an state-of-the-art iPad tablet PC!
During the competition period, BWC has organized several Forex trading seminars to explain the most updated market development, the trend of major currencies as well as the skills in Forex trading. In addition, each contestant could also use the professional “Prosticks” analysis software one month for free.
All such benefits have attracted over 300 contestants and the game was very challenging and exciting. Each round’s winner made profit ranging from 26% to 90%. All winners were invited to join a prize presentation ceremony on 5th June 2012. Mr Joseph Li, Head of Forex Department and Senior Vice President, Investment Services, has presented the prizes to the winners. The winners also talked to Mr Li and exchanged ideas with him on trading techniques.
