Fight for Green Golf Tournament 2013
Following the introduction of Ms. Fok Mo Kan and her family members to become shareholders, BWC is busily preparing establishment of the “Hong Kong (BWC) Finance & Multimedia Development Center” in Nansha. In the meantime, BWC co-hosted the “Fight for Green Golf Tournament 2013” in Nansha together with Metro Finance and Metro Digital Finance, The objective is to consolidate charity strength of major industrial and commercial enterprises to raise money for the needy of the community. Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, the principal sponsor, formed a team of two people to join like the other participating institutions. They are BOCHK Charitable Foundation, Hair Again 2000, Swiss Privilege, GRG Group, Centaline Property, Exclamation Limited, Bank of Communications, Fortune REIT and the Federation of HK Guangxi Community, which is the team champion of the game.

Entry fees paid by participating institutions, after deducting necessary expenses, were contributed to Po Leung Kuk upon successful conclusion of game.
The office of “Hong Kong (BWC) Finance & Multimedia Development Center” in Nansha will be opening in July 2013 and formally put into service. The office intends to build advanced financial training lab and senior management training and development parks, world-class multimedia center and different types and sizes of meetings and events venue. A FMCE hub is to be established converging elements of Financial education, Multimedia production and Conference and Events to explore and develop long-term business in Nansha as well as the Pan Pearl River Delta region.
